One-on-one experiences tailored for you.

Private Breathwork Journeys

This work is for those who value depth, presence, and intentional support.

Private breathwork is not about chasing peak experiences or emotional catharsis. It is about creating enough safety in the body for truth to surface, move, and integrate. Over time, the breath becomes a relationship—one that supports regulation, clarity, and self-trust in daily life.

While a single session can offer insight or relief, real transformation unfolds through consistency. These journeys are designed to meet you where you are—and walk with you as capacity expands.

“I am always amazed by Sunshine’s deep psychological understanding and spot-on intuition. Her breathwork sessions are both profound and light-hearted.”

- Simone from Switzerland

Each session is a guided, one-on-one experience tailored to your nervous system and your current season.

We’ll use conscious connected breathing, alongside other breath techniques and somatic practices, to support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and inner clarity. Sessions may include moments of stillness, sensation, emotional movement, and deep presence.

All sessions are private, guided, and intentionally held.

You don’t have to do this alone. But you do have to be willing to show up.

What can I expect in a private session?

* Virtual and in-person options available.

This work is gentle but powerful. You are not pushed, forced, or “broken open.” You are guided to listen—to your body, your breath, and what is ready to emerge.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes. The profound practice of breathwork will impact all areas of your body, including:

    • Ease anxiety and stress — Gentle breathing patterns calm your nervous system, quiet the mind, and help you feel grounded, even when life feels overwhelming.

    • Lift mood and support emotional well-being — As you breathe deeply, your body floods with oxygen and feel-good endorphins, creating space for lightness and hope to return.

    • Support healing from trauma — Breathwork offers a safe, held space to release stored emotion, process experiences, and reconnect with your own strength.

    • Improve sleep — By relaxing the body and soothing the mind, breathwork helps you drift into deeper, more restful sleep.

    • Help manage pain — Conscious breathing can soften tension, ease discomfort, and give you tools to navigate pain with greater ease.

    • Sharpen focus and clarity — With a clear mind and steady breath, it becomes easier to concentrate, make decisions, and move through your day with purpose.

    • Nourish physical health — Deep breathing strengthens lung capacity, supports immune health, and boosts energy through better oxygen flow.

    • Bring emotional balance — Breathwork helps you meet your emotions with awareness, so you can respond with intention rather than react from habit.

  • Yes — with care. Breathwork can be adapted for pregnancy, focusing on gentle, safe patterns that support relaxation, ease tension, and connect you with your body and your baby. I always recommend checking with your healthcare provider first and letting me know how far along you are so we can tailor the practice to your needs.

  • Absolutely, but we move gently and intentionally. Breathwork can support recovery by easing tension, improving circulation, and reconnecting you with your body. Please let me know the type of surgery and how recently it occurred so we can practice safely and comfortably.

  • No. Breathwork meets you exactly where you are. Whether you’ve never tried it before or have a deep personal practice, your breath will guide you into the experience you’re ready for — nothing more, nothing less.

  • Breathwork is a beautiful complement to therapy, coaching, or medical care — but it’s not a replacement. Think of it as a companion practice that helps you access your own clarity, resilience, and self-healing.

  • In most cases, breathwork is not covered by insurance, as it’s considered a complementary or wellness practice rather than a medical treatment. That said, some people choose to submit receipts as part of flexible spending accounts (FSAs) or health savings accounts (HSAs) depending on their plan. I’m always happy to provide a detailed receipt for your records, and we can discuss any options that make the practice accessible for you.

  • The best place to begin is exactly where you are right now. For most people, a guided session with support is the easiest and safest way to start. This allows you to experience the power of your own breath, learn the patterns, and discover how your body naturally responds. From there, you can decide whether you want private sessions, group sessions, or even at-home practice. The key is to start gently and follow your own rhythm.

  • Wear something comfortable. Have water nearby, a blanket if you’d like warmth, and a quiet space where you won’t be disturbed. A journal can be helpful to capture insights afterward.

  • I offer a variety of options to make breathwork accessible:

    • Single group sessions

    • Mentoring programs (for ongoing support)

    • Sliding scale or flexible payment plans upon request. Payments can typically be made via credit card, bank transfer, or digital payment apps. If you have specific needs, just reach out — we’ll find a solution that works for you.
